MVGLA was pleased to hear that Lairg 2 Wind Farm was granted consent in June 2020. The Development by EnergieKontor UK will have ten turbines of 180m and 150m to blade tip, and is located to the south-east of Lairg. MVGLA was involved throughout the design and assessment process. Visualisations produced by MVGLA in-house graphics team included daylight photomontages and dusk imagery to illustrate aviation lighting effects. The consent confirms the importance of design, careful assessment, and communication with consultees to achieve a positive result that will generate up to 34.5MW.
