Big Move, Big Impact
As a team, we are passionate about a greener, cleaner Scotland, and about supporting the transition to net zero.
It’s crucial that we practise what we preach! As we prepare to settle into our new home, we’re continuing to put sustainability and community at the heart of everything we do.
Local First, Always
Our move isn’t just about a new office; it is also about strengthening the local economy. We employed a local contractor who engaged local skilled trades people for the renovation and fit out of our office. We work with nearby suppliers, and importantly most of our team live locally (4 in Comrie, 1 in Madderty, 1 in Doune and 2 P/T in Glasgow). We aspire to work as a close team for up to 2 days/week in person in the office but the remainder of the time our team works remotely/hybridly depending on their preference. By hiring locally and offering flexible working where possible, we’re not only investing in our neighbours but also reducing the carbon emissions linked to lengthy commutes.
Reusing, Not Replacing
Out with the old and in with…well, the old! We’re proud to be reusing over 80% of our existing furniture and equipment, putting new life into the desks, chairs, and tech that have been part of our journey. Where we’ve needed to get ‘new’ furniture and finishings, we’ve got these secondhand or upcycled wherever possible too (including the ‘new’ floor, which was reclaimed from a school gymnasium!). Not only does this keep waste out of the landfill, but it helps us reduce the environmental footprint of our office fit out.
Commuting with a Conscience
Encouraging greener commutes is a priority for our team. Our new space has storage for up to 3 push bikes (you may ‘know‘ one of us commuting almost daily along the south Crieff and south Perth road to and from Madderty! And we’re only round the corner from the local bus stop and lots of brilliant local shops.

Reminder!
On Thursday 24th October we will open our office between 4 and 6.30pm for our first ‘local drop-in’ where you’ll get the chance to meet the team and learn more about the exciting work we’re doing! However, please note that we cannot discuss specific projects.
